1. subject matter of the contract

1.1 The subject matter of the contract is the provision of: Hotel rooms, seminar rooms / conference and meeting facilities, banquet facilities and other services required for the organization of the respective event by the Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz.

2. reservation

2.1 The reservation agreements and any amendments thereto relating to services provided by the Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz shall only become binding on the hotel once they have been confirmed or reconfirmed in writing by the hotel and the client.

3. use of the premises

3.1 The organizer shall provide the Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz with the detailed programme, details of the set-up of the premises and the technical equipment as well as all information required by the Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz for the smooth running of the event no later than 7 days before the event.

3.2 The Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz shall receive the exact list of participants and rooms from the organizer no later than 24 hours before the start of the event

4. cancellation of the reservation

4.1 Cancellations of reservations for seminars / congresses / conferences / lectures / banquets and events must be communicated to the Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz by the customer in writing as set out in points 3 and 5. If the reservation is canceled in full without the Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz being responsible for this, the Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz will charge the customer the following flat-rate cancellation fees for the reserved service (Section 2). Furthermore, the following conditions apply, unless special agreements have been explicitly made in the confirmation.

Cancellation of events
20 to 15 days before the event : 50 %
14 to 4 days before the event : 75 %
3 to 0 days before the event : 100 %

4.2 If the Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz has reasonable grounds to believe that the event or arrangement may jeopardize the smooth operation, security or reputation of the Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz, the Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz is entitled to terminate the reservation agreement at any time without compensation.

5. number of participants

5.1 The customer undertakes to inform the Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz in writing of the final number of participants for room bookings 21 days before the start of the event and of food and beverage services 3 working days before the event.

6. liability

The Hotel Wysses Rössli is liable to the customer in the event of intentional or grossly negligent contractual or non-contractual damage. The customer is responsible for proving fault. Liability for damage caused by slight or medium negligence as well as strict liability are excluded.

7. further provisions

7.1 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer shall purchase all food and beverages from Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz.

7.2 Evening extensions of the event are only possible with the prior agreement of the Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz. If the duration of the reserved event is likely to exceed the statutory closing time (police hour), the customer must contact the Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz as early as possible so that the necessary permits can be obtained and organizational measures can be taken.

7.3 Damage: The customer is liable to the Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz for all damage and loss caused by him or his assistants or participants, without the Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz having to prove fault on the part of the customer. The Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz accepts no liability for theft of or damage to materials and checkrooms brought in by the organizer, participants, speakers or third parties.

7.4 The insurance for the event or for materials brought in (goods brought in) is the responsibility of the organizer. The Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz may request proof of this insurance.

7.5 Method of payment: The Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz is entitled to demand full or partial advance payment for the reservation. For events with a foreign billing address, a 100% advance payment is required. This also applies to events booked from abroad. Unless otherwise agreed, the Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz will invoice the customer for the expenses incurred following the event. The customer undertakes to settle invoices from Hotel Wysses Rössli Schwyz within 10 days of the invoice date without deduction.

7.6 Applicable law/jurisdiction: Swiss law shall apply exclusively to this confirmation, including the general terms and conditions and any additional agreements, as well as to the contracts concluded on the basis thereof. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this agreement is the municipality of Schwyz.

7.7 Amendments to these General Terms and Conditions must be made in writing.
